This past weekend we held our first organised event, exclusive to members and friends. In total 30 patriots planned on attending our northern social. With the flu, bad weather and people coming from as far afield as Newcastle (British Voice reps), Harrowgate and Portsmouth, we did well to fill 22 seats on the day.

Although we knew we could draw a bigger group if we held the event in London, Tim and Jack thought Liberty Defender's first social should be held in the nation's Brexit heartland, the North. It was also three years to the day our first LD/British Renaissance event was held in Southport which Jack organised with his former UKIP team. Although it was slightly larger due to the fact current members of UKIP and the BNP were on hand, this past weeks was a wonderful success. In a word, UNITY!

Past and present UKIP parliamentary candidates, former mayoral and parliamentary candidates and reps from the English Democrats, BNP, BF,Veterans for Freedom and other smaller patriotic groups were all represented.
